Our Journey of Faith and Service

Tyler and Amanda Zimmerman’s commitment to faith, obedience, and a deep love for the local church began in childhood as missionary kids at Cedine Bible Mission. Amanda’s father served as Camp Director and Tyler’s father as Outreach Director, where both learned early what it means to love Jesus, serve others, and live on mission.

Education and Calling

Amanda completed studies at New Tribes Bible Institute and New Tribes Missionary Training. Tyler graduated from Tennessee Temple University and later pursued a Master of Arts in Church Planting at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, each sensing a clear call to gospel ministry and church planting.

Marriage and Early Ministry

After college they married and returned to Cedine Bible Mission, serving together as Head Counselors and Activities Director. In 2017 they moved to North Carolina, where Tyler served as Associate Pastor of Youth and Children at Eastside Baptist Church and grew in his appreciation for the local church’s role in reaching the nations.

Ministry Development at Gospel Hope Church

More recently the Zimmermans were rooted at Gospel Hope Church in Georgia, where they completed a church planting residency. Tyler served as Missions and Development Director, strengthening local and global outreach while his leadership, pastoral heart, and burden for healthy, gospel-centered church planting were refined.

Family Life and Discipleship

Throughout every season, Amanda has been a steady source of encouragement, hospitality, and faithful service in church and home. Together they have modeled genuine discipleship for their three children—Zeke, Leo, and Zoe—making their home a place where mission, family, and community naturally blend.

Call to Puerto Rico and Table Church

After months of prayer, counsel, and Scripture, the Zimmermans discerned a clear calling to cross-cultural ministry in Puerto Rico and to join the planting of Table Church. They embraced this next step with humility and excitement.

Role and Vision at Table Church

Tyler will serve as Executive Pastor at Table Church, building systems, shepherding people, and supporting disciple-making across the island. The Zimmerman family’s simple yet profound desire is to see lives transformed by the gospel and to help establish a church that brings hope, stability, and spiritual renewal to the community.

Gratitude and Partnership

The Zimmermans step into this season grateful for everyone who prays, encourages, and partners with them as they plant a church for the glory of God.
